Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion We wholeheartedly believe in the need to improve diversity within our sector. We partner with a range of organisations to ensure the impact we’re having from an EDI perspective is a resoundingly positive one. Our Women in Manufacturing Committee is a support network for women, by women, formed as an opportunity to open dialogue between our Executive team and female colleagues on gender-specific issues. Our collective voice for positive change, the WIM committee works to ensure Encirc remains a safe and equitable workplace for all. We’re bronze accredited by Diversity Mark, an accreditation designed to measure our commitment to, and progress in the areas of, equality, diversity, and inclusion. The Bronze award recognises commitment to advancing Gender Diversity, and our next aim is Silver, which focuses on disability.
Helping Our Communities Achieve More HOCAM, our community engagement programme, was designed to engage, educate and drive awareness of a number of key themes within our local communities. With brand ambassadors delivering educational workshops in schools, as well as work experience offerings and a dedicated charity committee to support local causes, we’re proud to take corporate social responsibility seriously.
Sustainability Sustainability is not as simple as just focusing on reducing our carbon footprint, it’s all part of a much bigger picture. We believe that our success as a business can only truly be measured by our impact on those around us and we’re working hard to ensure that impact is a positive and lasting one.
