Customer Support Specialist & Delivery Specialist at Cazoo

Hello, we’re Cazoo and we’re transforming the way people buy used cars. We want to make buying a car no different from buying any other product online. With Cazoo, you can browse and buy any of our cars online and have it delivered to your door in as little as 72 hours. Our Delivery Specialists and Customer Support Specialists play a key role in delivering our promises and delighting our customers.

  • Customer Support Specialist
  • Delivery Specialist

40 hour working week (between the hours of 9am-8pm 5 days on 2 days off, may include some

weekend working). Across various locations. Driving licence is essential for the role.

Must be flexible on where you travel for 1-2 weeks of initial training.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Providing extraordinary customer service including liaising with our Customer Service team in London or at the customer centre and dealing positively and effectively with customer questions and queries. You’ll also work closely with other hubs and colleagues across Cazoo to give customers the best possible experience.
  • Responding to emails welcoming customers to the Customer Centre and offering refreshments.
  • Supporting walk-in customers through their car browsing process.
  • Checking-in all customers who arrive at the Cazoo Customer Centre to pick-up their Cazoo car.
  • Completing accurate quality assurance checks on all vehicles to maintain high standards.
  • Completing all necessary verification and identification checks with customers.
  • Handing over vehicles to customers in the brand new Cazoo Customer Centres, at a scheduled time.
  • Utilising your knowledge to answer any questions or resolve issues our customers may have while in the customer centre.
  • Support customers with their payments and refunds.
  • Proactively assist any customers who experience any post-sales issues with their car.
  • Building rapport and assist all customers to resolve any complaints/issue.

What you will need:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Good problem-solving skills.

You’ll be the face of our business meeting new customers every day, and getting to work with supportive and enthusiastic teams across the business. The first time our customers meet anyone from Cazoo will be when a Delivery Specialist delivers their car. That’s why you’ll be so important, as you’ll create an experience our customers will love.

We’ll give you all the training you need on our quality processes and safety procedures. This way, you’ll safely operate our single car transporters and make sure everything is properly loaded. You’ll also complete quality assurance checks on all cars, making sure any damage is noted before and after loading. Once you’re with the customer, you’ll complete all transfer, verification and identification checks.

About You

  • You enjoy meeting new people every day
  • You have great communication skills
  • You’ll work with your wider team to give our customers the best solution. Relying on your great problem-solving ability, you’ll think on your feet, have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and feel a real sense of pride.
  • You have a valid LGV Cat C driving licence, with no more than six minor penalty points and no disqualifications in the last 10 years.
  • If you’re a confident driver and also know about transport legislation and tachographs, this would be an advantage.

That’s why we have a comprehensive training programme so you’ll have a great support from the start of your career with us, covering everything from customer service to quality assurance. We also operate a buddy system so you will be learning from the best in the industry.

What to expect

Our selection process will typically involve a chat on the phone, followed by face-to-face interviews and assessments. It gives you a chance to meet some of the team. But we’re not there to catch you out. We want to understand your experience, see your potential and get a feel for your personality. We’ll also carry out a DBS (Criminal Records) and a driving license check. You’ll need to have the right to work in the UK or a valid work permit.

Customer Support Specialist

TFC customers deserve and expect a rich and consistent customer experience across all communication mediums. As a TFC Team Member, you’ll be delivering a consistently high level of service to the TFC customers.

Role Information & Responsibilities

  • Works within a fast paced and stimulating environment that has the customer at the very heart of everything we do.
  • Works collaboratively with operational, project and support teams across the business to drive a continuous improvement ethos and directly influence the customer experience.
  • Deliver customer query resolution across a number of customer contact channels; consistently meeting performance indicators in accuracy and timeliness
  • Actively engage in training, coaching and performance management. Displaying the skills and behaviours required to be truly customer centric.
  • Proactively support company initiatives around staff wellbeing.
  • Clear & concise in written, verbal and email communication.
  • Record and act as appropriate on customer feedback and trends. Proactively support the transformation and change activities to support contractual requirements around making NS&I easier to do business with.
  • Follow all compliance, legal and regulatory requirements, completing all relevant training.
  • Support the maintenance of all relevant Industry standards.
