Championing refugee employment rights Right now, people seeking asylum in Britain can only apply to work if they’ve been waiting for a decision on their claim for over 12 months. After that, they have to choose from a Shortage Occupations List. We work with the Lift the Ban Coalition to give refugees faster, fairer access to employment.
